My name is Donna and I am 6 feet, ¾ inches tall, and I also collect Hall China.  I live near Greensburg, Pennsylvania, with my husband of 11 years, Don, and our pampered, pound puppy, Prince.

Don and I met in 1992 through the Golden Triangle Tall Club, Inc.; a social club for men and women of above average height.  Men must be at least 6’ 2” and women 5’ 10” in their stocking feet.

I started collecting Hall China in 1994 after acquiring several pieces that belonged to my mother.  A friend informed me of the Hall China Collector’s Club Newsletter which I quickly subscribed to. I also learned that the factory was still in operation in East Liverpool, Ohio, an hour’s drive from my home.

At first I searched only for the decal pattern called Wildfire.  I soon learned how elusive the pattern was after searching through many antique shops and flea markets.  Through the power of eBay my collection has grown considerably and along the way I became interested in collecting dripolators and teapots.  Another great resource for Hall collecting is Marty Kennedy’s Hall China Collectors Web Page.  Through his web page I have had the opportunity to meet other Hall collectors from all over the country many of whom have helped me in my search.
